Last Friday, June 6, we had our CD Release Party for Found a Reason in Asheville at the Grey Eagle. It was magical. Luckily we had had a few days to get back into the Eastern time zone, and we felt on top of our musical game after playing some many shows in a row in California. We played live on WNCW 88.7 FM during the afternoon before the show, which is always a treat. WNCW has been very supportive of us for years. So has the Grey Eagle, our favorite club in Asheville.
Paleface kicked off the evening with an incredible set. I am such a fan of theirs. Then we took the stage and played our hearts out. The crowd gave us so much love and good energy. And the dance party was off the chain. It was the perfect way to kick off the summer, which for us is going to be Found a Reason season.
There is a great photo gallery on the Asheville Citizen-Times website of shots of us, Paleface, and the crowd. Click here to see the photos. I love that the people at the show ranged in age from 4 to ?? (grey hair). Music transcends lots of things, and age is certainly one of them.
